Our long-shaft agitators in fresh use
If you look below you'll see a post from a few weeks ago. Our long-shaft agitators were partially assembled there in our Plant 2, waiting for their journey to the plant.
There they are! And meanwhile they are rotating in the ca. 40 meter container.
For us too, this sight is always special, especially with these dimensions.
A good start to 2022
Corona presents the economy with new challenges. The market is constantly changing and the current situation makes entrepreneurial activity seem more difficult. Nevertheless, we don't want to complain, because the current order situation looks good. Not only the market is changing, but also thinking in relation to sustainability - and the entire biogas industry is feeling the effects.
Biogas Trade Fair 2021, Nürnberg
The Biogas Trade Fair 2021 took place in Nuremberg on December 7th and 9th, 2021. We were also represented there with Steverding Agitator Technology.
It was nice to see some familiar faces as well as new faces and to enjoy a bit of "normality" despite Corona.
Also a compliment from our side to the trade fair management and planning for the good implementation of the hygiene concept and the "safe feeling" despite the current situation.
All in all a successful fair.
Research & Development
Our research & development department is constantly working on new products and developments. At our in-house test stands, we always have the opportunity to try out various theories, such as here on our test container on a scale of 1:10.

11 year old Hydromixer continues to run reliably
In the last post we reportet on the modernization measures with the Spiralo®. Here on this picture you can see the corresponding Hydromixer. The emtying of the fermenter was used to replace the wear parts of the Hydromixer - after 11 years of continous and problem-free operation!
We are incredibly proud that our hydromixer did not leave any major problems and can continue to run reliably now. That can be seen!
Picture 1 shown the Hydromixer before the renewal. Picture 2 shows the Hydromixer after the paddles and storage units have been renewed.
Spiralo® as a modernization measure
This Spiralo® was installed in a tank with a diameter of 23 m and a height of 8 m (filling level constant approx. 7.3 m). It was installed in the course of modernization measures and now replaces three large-blade submersible mixers, which have repeatly caused problems in the past. The Spiralo® mixes the substrate with approx. 15% dry matter content together with one of our Hydromixers. An energy consultant was involved in the modernization measures, as this involved funding in accordance with BAFA Modul 4 acted. Our agitators achieved very good values, so that funding was approved without any problems.
expo biogaz - trade fair in France
The trade fair expo biogaz in Lille, France, was very successful despite the corona measures. Although the number of visitors of last year could not be matched, the conversations we had were very good. It is great that we got the opportunity. Many thanks to the organizer for the good implementation and the big step back into a "normal everyday life".
Hydromixer in special specification
While the weather is bright in Denmark, our hydromixers also cut a fine figute in the (still) empty container with a diameter of 29.5 m and a hight of "only" 4.1 m, 3 of our special hydromixers (8 paddles instead of 4 and with a smaller diameter) were installed with the help of an adapted external stand.
Visit in France
In the last week we visited on of our larger customers in France. For us the dimensions are always impressive and we are pleased that our customer is still so satisfied with our agitators.
Introduction of our "Werk 2"
The "old Nobilis-plants" in Stadtlohn - everybody of our city knows the long empty halls.
But these halls are not empty at all because for us it is the perfect place: just across the street.
Since the end of 2019 we use the hall as the official "Werk 2" of Steverding agitators after a long renovation phase.
We don't want to withhold a few impressions from you.
You can see the front part of the hall: There the agitators are waiting for their delivery to our customers.
In the middle part you see where the agitators are put together and get ready for transportation.
In the back part of the hall there is a "little stock" and a station for the coatings of our agitators.

These 8 pre-assembled paddle agitators are waiting for their delivery to our customer.
Every agitator shaft is about 6.5 m long (incl. gearbox) and weights impressive 900 kg.
